Spaghetti and meatballs in Tomato sauce

Spaghetti and meatballs in Tomato Sauce is an Italian-American creation. A simple combination. The meatballs are juicy, tender, light, well seasoned and won't fall apart.

Ingredients
  

  • 12-15 meatballs
  • Tomato sauce
  • 100 g Spaghetti

Instructions
 

  • Already prepared meatballs, raw, fried, broiled or baked.
  • Place sauce over medium heat and set to boil. Reduce to a simmer.
  • Add meatballs to the sauce and cook undisturbed for 10 minutes or till they float up.
  • Stir and continue simmering for 20-25 minutes. Take off the heat.
  • Cook spaghetti till al dente (still have a bite to it) for about 10 minutes.
  • Drain reserving 2 tablespoons spaghetti water.
  • To bring Spaghetti and meatballs in Tomato sauce together
  • After draining, put spaghetti back in the pot, add the reserved water and about 1/4 cup of sauce, and stir. It prevents the spaghetti from sticking together.
  • Heap spaghetti onto a plate, spoon sauce and meatballs on top. You can grate some mozzarella cheese over it.
