Spaghetti and meatballs in Tomato Sauce is an Italian-American creation. A simple combination. The meatballs are juicy, tender, light, well seasoned and won't fall apart.
Already prepared meatballs, raw, fried, broiled or baked.
Place sauce over medium heat and set to boil. Reduce to a simmer.
Add meatballs to the sauce and cook undisturbed for 10 minutes or till they float up.
Stir and continue simmering for 20-25 minutes. Take off the heat.
Cook spaghetti till al dente (still have a bite to it) for about 10 minutes.
Drain reserving 2 tablespoons spaghetti water.
To bring Spaghetti and meatballs in Tomato sauce together
After draining, put spaghetti back in the pot, add the reserved water and about 1/4 cup of sauce, and stir. It prevents the spaghetti from sticking together.
Heap spaghetti onto a plate, spoon sauce and meatballs on top. You can grate some mozzarella cheese over it.
