- 2 tablespoons Coriander seed (Gunyen Gantu)
 - 1 Cinnamon stick (Kirfa)

 - 1 teaspoon Cloves (Kanamfari)
 - 1 teaspoon Tumeric Powder (Kurkur)
 - 1 tablespoon Cardamom pods (Huba alhal or Abbahaan)
 - 1 teaspoon dry thyme

Toast spices lightly (about half a minute) in a dry frying pan over medium heat to dry out.
Using a coffee grinder or the dry mill of your blender, grind until powdered.
Sift and re-grind what is left behind.
Pour into an airtight container, store in a cool place. If the weather is hot, store in the fridge.

- Toasting will remove excess moisture from your spices so that your mix will stay fresh and last longer.
